Casting facility is well equipped to handle all processes from designing to final product, for manufacturing of all kinds of Aluminum Castings made by Low Pressure and Gravity Die Casting processes. The total casting capacity is 4200 MT per Annum & is likely to touch 6000 MT by this year end.

Melting
The Company has the capability to produce any alloy as per customer requirement. All the furnaces are Gas Fired to achieve highest efficiency and to enable Clean Envoirment. Degassing is done by Rotary Degassing Machine using Nitrogen Gas & Gas density process is used to check the Hydrogen content. Grain refinement and Grain modification is done by AlTi5B1 (Aluminum Titanium Boron) and AlSr (Aluminum Strontium) alloys.

Core Shop
Horizontal and vertical parting core shooters are used for making Sand Cores. To achieve lean manufacturing one operator works on two Core Shooters.

LPDC/Gravity Process (with permanent mould)
The casting process is carried out using PLC Controlled Low Pressure and Gravity Die Casting machines. Process parameter data is maintained for each casting to ensure traceability. The unit has the expertise to make Single and Multi Aluminum castings weighing 1 to 30 kg.

Decoring
Advanced Pneumatic Decoring machines are used to separate Sand Cores from casting without affecting its microstructure.

Heat Treatment
Company has a number of gas fired, automatic heat treatment furnaces with multi level temperature control at different zones to achieve specified hardness and other metallurgical parameters.
